The figure of the "map on a scale of 1 to 1" adopts the aesthetic paradox of a "congruence" between art and the world and can be shown in monumental film loops as well as in durational performances or artistically completely designed parallel worlds. The workshop places this artistic strategy of doubling in relation to the mimetic concept of representation and discusses the question whether this extreme point of mimesis even causes the cultural techniques of imitation, repetition and doubling to collapse.
